TalentPing is a browser extension that helps recruiters track candidates, interview processes, and follow-up reminders.
When you sign in with Google, TalentPing receives your email address and an authentication token via Supabase Auth. This is used solely to verify that your account has been granted access to the extension. We do not access your Gmail, contacts, or any other Google account data.
All candidate records, notes, tags, and reminders you create are stored
locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local) and are never
transmitted to or stored on any server. This data stays on your device and
is included only if you manually export it.
TalentPing reads the URL of the active browser tab to detect LinkedIn profile pages and pre-fill a candidate's name and profile link. TalentPing does not scrape, read, or modify the content of any web page.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Your email address is stored in our access-control database (Supabase) solely to determine whether you are authorized to use the extension.
You can delete your locally stored data at any time by removing the extension or using the in-app data management tools. To request removal of your account/email from our access list, contact us at the email below.
